Websites, photos, books

Welcome to Timmins, a small city located in North Eastern Ontario; my corner of the world...

Through Jean H Gibbons, Creative Website Services I work closely with clients to develop an effective web presence, the creation of forms, promotional material, along with custom photography and post processing. My years of work with word processing, computer applications, and photography enables me to effectively and creatively develop unique and personal websites.

With a love of computers and photography I find that life is always busy...whether it is developing a website, working on promotional material or sharing photography of well known area landmarks. Through local exhibits of my photography and through photo gift books, I try to convey the beauty found in the "now" moments of life before they disappear into the mists of memory.

"For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away." James 4:14

Updates on Websites

A new site acmarts.ca was launched in November 2015 and will continue to be a work in progress. Andrea Christina Max offers music and art therapy to people of all ages through ACM Arts and is certainly making a difference in the lives of seniors with Alzheimer's. I am so pleased to be able to help this young entrepreneur get started in promoting her new business especially since the work she does makes such a positive impact on people's lives.

It has been a real pleasure working with Roy and Laurie Lindsay in creating their new website goldenangels.ca that launched late in 2014. They breed Golden Retrievers in Schumacher Ontario. Please visit their website if you are interested in a registered, purebred Golden Retriever puppy from the new litter due Easter 2017!

On February 25, 2013, I decided to put my skills in web design to use in a special way and help create a uniquely customized website, livevivid.ca for my daughter Vanessa Harmanmaa. She is a very talented make-up artist and has enjoyed great success in the launch of her own small business. Vanessa has done so well that many bookings are two years in advance so book quickly! She has a large following on Instagram and has won numerous contests for special effects.

Rich earthy tones and texture for an updated website tnfc.ca coincided with the unveiling of the new look for the Timmins Native Friendship Centre as they were in the midst of a move to a new location July 17th, 2012.
The official launch of the Timmins Native Friendship Centre was a great success and it was wonderful to have played a small part in this move forward into new beginnings for the Centre. I am constantly amazed to see just how many diverse programs and events are taking place at this very busy Centre and it is a joy to help ensure an effective online presence.

In January 2012 an updated website ttra.ca was launched to help celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Timmins Therapeutic Riding Association. As a board member I also have a very active role not only in the website development, but in maintenance, media promotion, communications, website photography and updates. This site is constantly developing to align with the expanding vision and this year, TTRA has launched a new Mini Wheat Program that provides unique support to individuals of all ages through equine assisted therapy involving our miniature horses. I love to do what I can to help such a worthy cause and if you want to help please volunteer or donate to our Horse Sponsorship Program.
